Columbia Records y Legacy Recordings, la división de catálogo de Sony Music Entertainment, anuncia el próximo lanzamiento de Bob Dylan – 1970, una colección de tres discos con grabaciones reclamadas por los fans durante años, que estará disponible el viernes 26 de febrero.
Las grabaciones de Bob Dylan – 1970 se publicaron por primera vez en una edición limitada el 4 de diciembre como parte de la serie de ampliación de copyright de la Colección 50 aniversario de Bob Dylan (que comenzó en 2012). El interés que rodea a las grabaciones de 1970, en particular la sesión de estudio de Dylan con George Harrison el 1 de mayo, ha generado la demanda de un lanzamiento más amplio de estas grabaciones históricas.
Bob Dylan – 1970 incluye tomas descartadas inéditas de las sesiones de las que salieron Self Portrait y New Morning además de las grabaciones de estudio completas del 1 de mayo de 1970 con George Harrison, que capturan a ambos artistas tocando juntos en nueve pistas, incluyendo originales de Dylan (“One To Many Mornings,” “Gates of Eden,” “Mama, You Been On My Mind”) y versiones (“All I Have to Do Is Dream” de Everly Brothers, “Matchbox” de Carl Perkins) entre otras.
